Minneapolis

This month kicks off our travel adventures for the year (we spend our winters mostly in hibernation, working) so I thought it would be a good time to share some of our travels from last year.

Our wedding anniversary is in May but we usually celebrate it in April since that's the most ideal time work-wise. And last year we decided to spend a weekend in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We've driven through the city many times but had never really spent much time in the city itself, so it was really fun to explore places that we've just driven past for years.

So, our weekend in The City of Lakes:

Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, Spoonbridge and Cherry

Minneapolis Institute of Art (Free admission!)

Bogart's Doughnut Co. Uptown

Moose & Sadie's

Handsome Husband at Target Field ;)

Spyhouse Coffee Roasting Co. North Loop - my favorite coffee spot so far.

Milkjam Creamery - husband's favorite ice cream place :)

Urban Bean Coffee on Lyndale Ave. - ignore the google reviews, people are cruel.

Every time we go on vacation, we joke that we plan our days around food + coffee, but it's totally true. Is there any other way to vacation? If so, don't tell me. :)

If you're interested, I also published a Minneapolis Weekend guide on Townske for easy saving and exploring. --It's an awesome app for finding coffee spots, places to eat, and things to do in most major cities.

Thanks for reading! And watch for more posts in the near future (yay blogging inspiration!) :)
